Sunday School Classes

Introduction to The

Sunday school process

Adult Sunday School Class

Our adult Sunday school class is very popular at New Covenant Baptist as it is taught by Dr. Mitchell Reddish, former Chair of the Department of Religious Studies at Stetson University. This class has many longstanding members who have attended for years! Dr. Reddish and the class welcome new participants who wish to learn more about the scripture each week through discussion and various readings.

Children's Sunday School Class

The children’s ministry is separated by preschool, early elementary (grades K-2), and upper elementary (grades 3-5). We also offer middle and high school Sunday classes as well.

We have dedicated staff who teach each area and follow a curriculum based on Jesus’s teachings. Each week the students are engaged in some type of art activity centered around that week’s lesson. Many of our staff are retired teachers themselves who truly enjoy teaching these little ones!

Additional Information on the

Adult Class

The Alternative Sunday School Class is taught by Dr. Mitchell Reddish, former Chair of the Department of Religious Studies at Stetson University. The class meets every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. for an hour. It is a hybrid class meeting both in person and via Zoom. Dr. Reddish provides the biblical subject the class will study. He dedicated the commentary on the book of Revelation he wrote to the Alternative Class. If you are interested in obtaining the Zoom link to join, please email him at mreddish@stetson.edu.
