We are so fortunate to have a dedicated team of musicians at New Covenant Baptist Church. Meet them below.

Ashley King is a graduate of Stetson University‘s School of Music and holds degrees in Music Performance and Music Education.  She has been a member of the New Covenant Singers since 2017 and loves her position as the Director of Music.  She is the owner and director of King and Company Performing Arts where she teaches private lessons in voice, acting, piano, and dance.  She is also the Music Teacher at Spruce Creek Elementary School.  Ashley loves sharing her passion for music and worship with all who walk through the doors of New Covenant.

*At the end of December 2023, Tammy Miller will no longer serve as pianist at NCBC. We thank her for her dedication to our music ministry!

Pianist, Tammy Miller spent more than twenty years as a faculty member at Stetson University where she accompanied students, faculty, and choirs. In addition to accompanying the Concert Choir, Stetson Men and Choral Union, her responsibilities at Stetson included private piano instruction, teaching functional keyboard classes, and other collaborative work.

An ecumenical church musician, Tammy served as organist, pianist and choir director for Lutheran, Episcopal, Methodist and Baptist congregations around Central Florida.

She received her B.A. from Stetson University and her M.A. from the University of Central Florida.  She is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, Music Teacher’s National Association and the Volusia County Music Teacher’s Association.

She and her husband Scott raised two beautiful children and now enjoy their three little Bichons as well as being proud godparents. They enjoy exploring National Parks- next on their list is Rocky Mountain National Park which they plan to visit this summer.
