Community Partners

Join us in loving our neighbors

At New Covenant, we believe the work Christ has called us to do in our community and world is bigger than any one person or church can do alone. That’s why we are so grateful for our community partners in DeLand and beyond who help connect us to our neighbors and find ways to show them love by our gifts of presence, food, energy, and time–among other things! Read and click on some of the icons below to meet some of our incredible ministry partners. Then, contact us for current and upcoming ways you can support and volunteer with these ministries. Let us know your gifts and passions as we strive together to be good neighbors!

We believe passionately in Neighborhood Center of West Volusia's work to alleviate hunger and help people find housing security. We are proud to support them in many ways, including collecting monthly for their food pantry and serving dinner bi-monthly at The Bridge Shelter.

We are proud to be a steady monthly contributor to West Volusia Habitat for Humanity, supporting their commitment to build affordable and attainable housing in DeLand. Volunteers are always needed to help with builds on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and don't forget to support their work by shopping at the ReStore!

We support the many ways DeLand Pride creates a space of welcome and advocates for our LGBTQIA+ community. Look for our table at the Love is Love Festival and other events and know we are a place of welcome!

We believe access to medical and dental care is vital for all of God's children--which is why we support the work of the Good Samaritan Clinic to connect the uninsured and underinsured to quality health providers in our community.

Many participants at New Covenant have deep connections to Stetson University. This is just one of the many reasons why we are supporters of Stetson's Baptist Collegiate Fellowship! We help fund their part-time campus minister, support their weekly gatherings, and seek to be a resource for Stetson students during the years they are our neighbors.

We love supporting and being part of this community of churches committed to being a different kind of baptist! As the only organization solely devoted to building the Welcoming and Affirming movement within the Baptist traditions, AWAB has a unique call to be a national voice for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Allied Baptists in the US.

Denominationally, we partner with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. They are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus through disaster relief, advocacy and supporting local congregations, not just in Florida and the Caribbean but across the nation and world!

We believe in justice work through interfaith organizing. We are part of a DeLand coalition for peace and justice and support with our presence and voices the work of FAITH Volusia at a county level.
